Legend96 is one of the only Pre E3 ROM hack of Super Mario 64 that is still in development.
Legend96 was originally a side project to sit alongside Silicon64 (W.I.P), however due to the cancellation of PrE3 and Penguin96, Legend96 is probably one of the only Pre E3 ROM hacks in development.Īlthough Legend96 was "cancelled" twice, its reboot seems to be doing ok in development, with other ROM hackers contributing to the project, such as Swipley, PenguinMania and alittlebit64. The hack was confirmed to be rebooted twice due to complications. It is under development and once faced (now dead) competition, such as PrE3. Made by TheInfiniteLegend, it aims to be the most accurate Pre E3 hack as possible, if not one of the most accurate. Legend96 is a recreation of the mid-March 1996 build of Super Mario 64.
